Both games contained a number of different aspects I enjoyed but without a doubt my favourite aspect was that of the different genre’s in play at the same time. I was thoroughly excited to learn that both games were making their way to the Xbox One in the form of Evoland: Legendary Edition and thankfully they were worth the wait and delivered in several areas. Both games are definitely were right up my alley.

I never had the chance to play the Evoland series before now. I really enjoyed the presentation side of the game there is a tiny lack of polish in a few areas. The different mechanics and genre’s in play at the same time work incredibly well and give the gameplay a lot in terms of enjoyability and depth. There is a decent story for you to play in each of the games and not only did the story keep me interested but it also made me chuckle or smile a few times as well. I was very impressed with the controls that have been implemented because they never create problems and they remained responsive. The presentation side of the game brought back a lot of fond memories for me and to say I enjoyed the retro style tremendously. The Both the games in the collection are an incredible amount of fun to play and they kept me interested throughout my time with them.
